Ayşegül GİRGİN ,MD,PhD

Dr. Ayşegül Girgin, who graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1992, received her Ministry of Health Medical Aesthetics certificate in 2004. After completing her Aesthetic Medicine Master’s at the “Università degli Studi di Camerino” in Italy in 2018, she completed her PhD at Trakya University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Anatomy, in 2024. Dr. Ayşegül Girgin began working in the field of medical aesthetics with laser treatments in 1997. She currently continues her professional life at the SMILEEST Clinic, which she co-founded with Dr. İsmail Metin Hoşer in 2018.

In 2016, she served as one of the master trainers in the Aesthetic Facial Anatomy Cadaver Workshops, which were organized in Turkey for the first time in cooperation with Trakya University Faculty of Medicine. As one of the founders and trainers of Metsacademy, Dr. Ayşegül Girgin serves as an instructor in Fullface aesthetic cadaver workshops at Trakya University and Hacettepe University. As an international trainer for APTOS and IBSA Derma, Dr. Ayşegül Girgin also provides training on aesthetic facial anatomy internationally. Furthermore, she is one of the authors of the book “Aesthetic Botulinum Toxin Applications” and the translation editor for the book “Dermal Fillers in Aesthetic Medicine” and Dr. Jack Le Coz’s book “The Role of Mesotherapy in Pain and Aesthetics”.
