Prof. Dr. Aydın Saray

Prof. Dr. Aydın Saray has been a member of the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association since 1998. Dr. Saray is a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) in various aesthetic subjects and always seeks scientific evidence, patient safety, logic, and utility in the treatment of his patients. He frequently serves as an invited speaker, direct practical trainer, cadaver dissection instructor, and high-level platform discussant both domestically and abroad. His primary principles in aesthetic treatments are “Less is more” and “Primum nihil nocere”. Dr. Saray is primarily interested in facial rejuvenation, otoplasty, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, and body shaping surgeries. He is an instructor, researcher, and author in minimal invasive treatments. His primary minimal invasive treatment interests include thread lifting methods, soft tissue fillers, chemical peeling, neurotoxins, and mesotherapy.

He is the author of an original book published in 2024 titled “Non-Surgical and Minimally Invasive Applications in Facial Rejuvenation,” specifically concerning minimal invasive applications. During and after his residency, he worked and conducted studies as a visiting plastic surgeon in the USA, Finland, Canada, Italy, and Israel. In 1998, he was the first surgeon from Turkey to win the EURAPS (European Association of Plastic Surgery) scholarship. As of December 2025, he has 36 international and 21 national articles. He possesses a patented “Shoulder Augmentation” technique which he developed and successfully applies, and it has been published in the journal Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. After working at Ankara Güven Hospital and subsequently at the Acıbadem Healthcare Group, he founded the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Acıbadem University. After serving as the Head of the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Acıbadem University Faculty of Medicine for 7 years, he left to move into the independent private sector. Today, Dr. Saray works as a full-time independent physician in Ataşehir, Istanbul.
