Dr. Erkan Özgün

Dr. Erkan Özgün graduated from Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA) Faculty of Medicine in 1987. He is a physician who specialized in medical aesthetics and hair transplantation and carried his career to international academic levels. After completing a Master’s (MBA) in Stem Cell and Regenerative Medical Sciences at Başkent University, Özgün completed his doctorate in Medical Aesthetics at Brussels Capital University. Having reinforced his competence in stem cell technologies with trainings received at various centers in the USA and Europe, Dr. Özgün has signed off on important scientific publications regarding stem cell applications in critical areas such as ALS and spinal cord injuries. Throughout his career, Dr. Erkan Özgün has held positions such as emergency service physician-in-charge and hair transplantation unit manager at the Memorial Healthcare Group, in addition to state and military hospitals; today, he continues his work as a mentor and CEO at Hairforce Academy. Özgün is the President of the Hair Transplantation Association (SANATDER); he is an expert in modern techniques such as FUE, DHI, and unshaven hair transplantation, as well as mesotherapy and advanced aesthetic technologies. Known for stem cell-supported hair treatments and innovative aesthetic approaches, Dr. Özgün continues to serve his patients and offer sectoral training through his clinics in Ankara, Istanbul, and Antalya.
