Koray Erdoğan

Born in Bursa-Gemlik (Turkey) in 1968, Dr. Koray Erdoğan graduated from Hacettepe University. He came to Istanbul in 1998 for Thoracic Surgery training and completed 1 year of specialization training at Marmara University. In 2001, he founded his own hair transplant clinic. Since then, he has developed his unique FUE system known as the "Sequential Technique," his unique calculation method known as "Coverage Value Calculation," and various FUE innovations such as K.E.E.P, Graft Calculator, KE-BOT, KE-BOT Mobile, KE-HEAD, KE-REST, and KE-PHOTO. He has validated and demonstrated his techniques, methods, and innovations at numerous international congresses and workshops in Europe, the United States, Latin America, and Asia.

In 2016, along with other officials from the international hair transplant community such as Dr. Ron Shapiro, Dr. Jose Lorenzo, Dr. Jerry Wong, Dr. Hussain Rahal, and Dr. Bijan Feriduni, he founded the World FUE Institute and assumed the role of Vice President. In 2018, he was elected President of the World FUE Institute. He performs only FUE hair transplant procedures at his personal clinic, the ASMED Surgical Center. Dr. Erdoğan's awards and memberships include ESHRS European Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (member since 2005), ISHRS International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (member between 2007-2015), participant of ISHR Italian Hair Restoration Society (member since 2010), IAHRS International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgeons (member since 2013), Excellence in Hair Restoration Award (2014), and WFI World FUE Institute (President since February 2018).
