He started hair transplantation in 1998. He began the FUE technique in 2004 and has applied the FUE technique since that date; for the last 8 years, he has been a global pioneer of the unshaven Long Fue technique. He has participated as a speaker and trainer physician in more than 50 international congresses and workshops, and has also contributed to 5 International Scientific publications. Since 1997, he has been a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery and has served in the Fellow (=Trainer) status for the last 10 years; furthermore, in 2007, he became an ABHRS Diplomate after passing the examinations of the American Board of Hair Restoration Society. He has personally performed over 30,000 Hair Transplant sessions in 26 years. Since 2017, he began applying the Unshaven Long Hair FUE technique, which he pioneered globally, and has provided training on this subject. Dr. O. Tayfun Oğuzoğlu is the recipient of the Scientific Poster first prize in 2016 and the Scientific Poster competition 3rd prize in 2023. He currently continues to provide services at the Ankara HLC Health Group.
